Sutton and I met in our Juvenile Justice class at Owens Community College in 2012. We were both majoring in Criminal Justice Technology.  It was the first day of class and I was sitting by myself until this very handsome guy walked in and sat right beside me. We began by making casual small talk before and after classes. Then one night, I had an email from him. He emailed me his number. I'm not going to lie, I laughed at first but I was overly excited. I took a chance and texted him. I am pretty sure texting him was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Because here I am, three years later, telling you about our story on our wedding website. We started out as class mates, became friends, started dating, now soon I will get to call him my husband.

The first day of class is usually a terrible experience. However, back in 2012  I walked into my Juvenile Justice class at Owens Community College on the first day and was surprised by the beautiful woman sitting at a table all by herself. I was late, as usual, and decided to take a chance. I picked the seat right next to her. I remember being very nervous and desperatley trying to not trip on my way to the seat. I didn't trip. It took me a few classes to build up the courage to finally give her my number, which I did by email because I was too nervous to do it in person. Don't judge me. Since then Lea has not only been my best friend, but the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. She stole my heart and I am very proud to soon be calling her my wife. I didn't trip that day walking to my seat, I fell. In love.

It was Memorial Day weekend and we were celebrating my little sisters graduation. We were enjoying a beautiful Saturday with my family. We had made plans to get our pictures taken that evening with a friend who is a great photographer. She had messaged me on facebook telling me she had some new props and asked if I would like to do a free session so she can try them out. How could I pass up that opportunity!? After the party, we went home to change and met with our photographer just outside of Findlay. It was the cutest set up. We first took a couple pictures together and then she said the magical words, "now lets take some romantic photos." Of course, I didn't think anything of it and got up and was ready to stand where she needed me to. However, I notice Sutton leaning over on the other side of the trunk we were sitting on to grab something. Then it happend. My best friend, my soul mate got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

Little did I know, he had this planned for months <3
