On black Friday, Chris and I went shopping and decided to look at engagement rings.  We had a lot of fun and I found a goregous ring that I fell in love with.  We didn't buy the ring and Chris simply said "Well now I know what you like."  I was so worried that he wouldn't go back and get MY ring! Several months passed and soon it was February.  I was in the middle of a tough stretch of basketball season and was upset after a game on February 13th because, even though we had won, my team hadn't played particularly well.  I called Chris, hoping Chris would be angry with me by the bad performance, but he was pretty chipper and said he was looking forward to seeing me when I got home.  I was kind of annoyed, but drove home and came into our house to find some of my favorite chocolate on the bed for me. I was really excited about getting my chocolate (because obviously...it's chocolate!) but then when I turned around to tell Chris thanks, he was down on one knee with my GORGEOUS ring that I had picked out months earlier.  He opened the ring box and asked if I would be his wife for the rest of our lives! I was so shocked that I'm pretty sure I said "Oh my goodness are you serious?!" But then, I of course said yes! I am so excited to be marrying my best friend in the whole world!
